Infant Massage Workshop, 6/2
Infant Massage Workshop, 6/2
Sunday, June 2nd
1:30-2:45pm
$85 + tax = $90.10
led by Jackie Priest
Many of us have already personally experienced the benefits of massage and the power of touch. This overview of full-body infant massage is curated to guide you through a time to slow down and enjoy your baby and to use the massage techniques to help stimulate the vagus nerve, the nerve that relaxes us. Many new parents/caregivers and little babies understandably have a hard time getting their stress down because everything is so new! Learn techniques to help you deal with a gassy baby or a baby that is challenging to comfort, or needs feeding support. This workshop is also great for parents/caregivers that want to incorporate infant massage in their bedtime routine! This class is meant to give you tools to help baby enjoy the body in harmony and you might be surprised how much it benefits you too!
*Unfortunately infant massage is not for babies who have fevers, active rashes, or any medical condition that requires a port or medical equipment :(
*This workshop will take place every other month
