Yoga Nidra & The Koshas
Yoga Nidra & The Koshas
Learn how to practice and teach deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra.
Pre-recorded workshop, with pdf, homework, and direct teacher access.
Yoga Nidra translates to “yogic sleep.” It is a meditative practice done while lying comfortably on the back. Yoga Nidra helps us to tap into our subconscious and unconscious patterning and helps us to release tension in order to manifest our intentions. In this workshop, we will explore and discuss the rich inner-world that is our sub- and un-conscious mind, as well as elements of the 8-limbed path that are important in the process of guiding Yoga Nidra. Pratyahara (restoring the senses to their natural function) and how to achieve it through Yoga Nidra will be discussed. You will also learn about theories and philosophies concerning Yoga Nidra practice and how to help students achieve a deep state of relaxation through methods that incorporate concepts such as rotation of consciousness, the koshas, and visualization.
